1970 Season

The 70's begin with the end of an era for the Chicago Bears. Wrigley Field, the Bears Cave for nearly 50 years is now too small to be used for professional football. The sport, which began in the gutter, was now surpassing baseball as America's Number 1 Sport, and bigger venues were needed. On December 13th the Bears would win their final game at Wrigley by trouncing the hated Green Bay Packers 35-1, as the Bears finish in 3rd place in the NFC Central with a record of 6-8.
