Stand out point doesn’t practice, but Bears positive

November 27th, 2013

Running back Matt Forte, who suffered a slight hyperextension of his right knee Sunday in St . Louis, failed to practice Wednesday but is still anticipated to play against the Vikings.

Bears coach Marc Trestman mentioned he’s “still optimistic” that Stand out point will play two days after predicting exactly the same.

“I feel pretty good that he’ll start getting some work (Thursday), ” Trestman said.

Linebacker Lance Briggs and Jay Cutler didn’t practice and will not play Sunday, Trestman reiterated.

Defensive tackle Stephen Paea, who is recovering from a turf toe injury, was limited in practice. So was Jeremiah Ratliff, the defensive tackle the Bears signed previously this month who hasn’t performed a game in more than a year when he recovers from groin surgery.
