Cornerback Charles Tillman did not practice Thursday and then left early with for an excused family-related reason, Bears coach Marc Trestman mentioned.
Tillman, fighting a knee injury, “did a lot of stuff early” in individual work, the coach said, but was listed in the team’s injury report because not participating in practice.
Trestman said he’ll be “back (Friday) practicing. ”
Tillman was joined by linebacker Blake Costanzo, who has a knee injury, on the did-not-participate list, as well as Lance Briggs (shoulder) and Jay Cutler (knee).
Wideout Joe Anderson (abdomen) and protection Major Wright (knee) were restricted.
The Packers’ Jermichael Finley and Clay Matthews had been out, and won’t play Mon night at Lambeau Field.
Linebacker Nick Perry missed practice with a foot injury, whilst wideout James Jones and restricted end Ryan Taylor were restricted with knee problems.
Linebacker Brad Jones was a full participant after injuring his hamstring.
